A leading premium spirits company is seeking a Field Sales Supervisor for the UK and Ireland. The role entails managing travel retail customers and a team of Brand Ambassadors to ensure successful market execution. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of field sales experience, strong relationship-building skills, and be proficient in English. This role will work to ensure the development of Brown-Forman brands in the travel retail airport channel, across the UK and Ireland. Reporting into the Senior Commercial Manager Europe West, this position will be responsible for the day‑to‑day management of all travel retail customers and activities in the covered territory. Key tasks will include managing a team of promoters, securing profitable listings, building broad and deep customer relationships, maintaining merchandising guidelines and coordinating promotional activities.
As Field Sales Supervisor, the role will assume operational responsibility for the accounts assigned in the region, ensuring alignment of activities and support across UK and Ireland. This role is responsible for the day‑to‑day execution of all travel retail activities in the region. The role will collaborate with GTR and local management teams to evaluate market conditions, implement sales and promotional plans, and recommend changes. A primary responsibility is to develop and maintain a unified, highly effective team of Brand Ambassadors through recruitment, coaching, training, and mentorship. The objective is to establish a visible, impactful presence of skilled, knowledgeable representatives across all strategic UK and Ireland locations, ensuring consistent brand messaging and exceptional consumer engagement.
The role requires focus on European countries’ Travel Retail & Transportation customers. Primarily, the role will require you to:
Minimum 3 years of experience in field sales, building strong relationships, and recruiting & leading sales consultants in a similar role.
Able to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating the capacity for autonomous work within a matrix structure.
Demonstrated ability to build strong, effective working relationships with external & internal stakeholders.
Ability to communicate in written & spoken English, this is the business language used in the region.
Strong computer skills with proficiency, or the ability to quickly build proficiency, on Google Workspace.
These skills & experience, while not mandatory, are very useful for the position.
