Our client is a leading British extruder, converter, and printer of polythene packaging, providing high-quality products including recycled polythene waste bags, virgin-grade plastic packaging, sheeting, tubing, stretch, shrink & barrier film, pallet covers, and rolls to diverse markets such as food, waste, facilities management, clinical, and industrial sectors.

They are currently recruiting for a Field Sales Representative to develop new business across a UK territory. The role offers autonomy, with all necessary tools and support provided to grow and manage accounts.

The company holds BRC and CHSA Accreditations, alongside ISO and clinical waste standards, ensuring rigorous quality assurance and high standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.
  • Identify potential clients and decision-makers within organizations.
  • Maintain existing accounts and develop new ones through product development.
  • Handle tender negotiations, prepare documents, and draft proposals for pricing and contracts.
  • Address objections by clarifying and emphasizing agreements, working towards positive conclusions.
  • Serve as the primary contact for all ongoing tenders until completion.
  • Develop new products through discussions with clients worldwide.
  • Maintain margins through strategic price increases to grow business.
  • Proven experience in the polythene packaging sector is required, either as an external sales professional or an internal candidate seeking career advancement.
  • Experience in tender negotiations and bid preparations.
  • Strong customer relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Proven track record of opening new accounts, preferably within packaging or related industries.
