Job description

VANRATH is delighted to have partnered with a leading FMCG distributor that operates across the island. The company is seeking to add a Field Sales Representative to the team.

This is a mixture of field-based sales and office-based employment in Carrickfergus.

Salary
£34,500+ (DOE) basic, plus bonus and attendance bonus + company laptop, company phone and access to company vehicle.

Responsibilities:

  • Source and develop new and existing business opportunities
  • Schedule and attend customer appointments
  • Advise, demonstrate and recommend a variety of products to your customers across NI & ROI
  • Work towards and ultimately exceed agreed sales targets as set out by Sales Manager
  • Complete administrative work as required

Essential Criteria:

  • Be able to demonstrate a strong knowledge of sales processes
  • Experience of dealing directly with the decision makers.
  • A proven track record of where you exceeded sales targets.
  • Ability to maintain a geographical call structure across a customer base between NI & ROI, and being flexible to spend time away from home 3/5 nights (per month)
  • A standard of education of GCSE level (or equivalent), and strong IT knowledge and ability.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Previous knowledge of the Pet industry
  • Geographical Knowledge of NI & ROI would be beneficial
