Job description

VANRATH is partnering again with a Major FMCG Distribution Service to recruit a Drinks Sales Specialist for a growing and dynamic team based in Belfast. The company values staff development and progression.

This is a Permanent (Monday - Friday) position. It is a Field-Based Sales role with 3 days on the road and 2 days working from home.

Salary:

£28,000 + 10% Bonus + Company Car (Fuel costs paid) + Phone & Laptop + Clear progression opportunities & 5-star training and development. An exciting role with significant growth potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve and surpass customer sales & profit budgets, maximizing ROI on Soft Drink brands across Out of Home Wholesale & Retail Accounts, aligned with sales, shopper, and brand objectives.
  • Manage customer portfolio, including existing and new business, to meet sales and brand goals.
  • Implement national plans locally, ensuring distribution and activation align with brand objectives and TGM targets.
  • Develop collaborative customer partnerships, translating sales and brand objectives into business plans, ranging, and activation strategies, considering customer needs and business cycles.
  • Work with Brand and NPD teams to communicate key customer insights and cycles.
  • Coordinate with commercial planning and activation teams to ensure all activities align with company and brand expectations, managing budgets and forecasts accordingly.
  • Provide required information for internal and external reports within deadlines.
  • Use market insights to maximize brand distribution, visibility, and availability, setting targets and conducting gap analyses.
  • Monitor competitor activity and report insights to inform business strategies.
  • Maintain financial control, including managing debtor days and resolving credit issues within 35 days.
