Role Details

Salary: £28,000

Bonus: 10% Performance Related Bonus

Contract: Fixed Term – 6 months

Start Date: 24th June 2024

Hours per week: 37.5 hours

Equipment Provided: Company Vehicle, Fuel Card, Mobile Phone

As a Field Sales Executive for BAT, you will visit independent and regional businesses within clubs, pubs, and cocktail bars. You will manage your own defined territory with the aim of securing new locations for vending machines and other business development solutions to increase sales of BAT-related products.

This is a 6-month trial that will work alongside an existing successful team, with the potential to extend the contract into 2025 and beyond.

Role Responsibilities:

  1. Sign up new business sites, gaining agreements within the HoReCa sector against set targets for your territory.
  2. Follow key criteria guidelines when signing up new locations.
  3. Visit a database of sites regularly, build relationships, and encourage growth.
  4. Identify new prospects and demonstrate a proven track record in sales conversion.
  5. Pioneer opportunities to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  6. Establish positive relationships and present benefits to prospective partners.
  7. Report outcomes of visits via a smart device to build a prospect database.
  8. Provide feedback, including recommendations and innovations.

Role Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in field sales, preferably in a territory-based role within the HoReCa sector, though not essential.
  2. Ability to communicate BAT product benefits effectively.
  3. Strong sales and relationship-building skills, with a drive to succeed.
  4. Experience in data capture via smart devices or similar.
  5. Ability to build rapport with business owners and influence effectively.
  6. A full, preferably clean, UK driver’s license is required.
