MCS Group are delighted to be working with a leading manufacturing business to recruit a Field Sales Representative to join their growing commercial team. With nearly 30 years of industry success, this company supplies specialist equipment across the manufacturing and processing sectors and is well-regarded for its quality and reliability. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Field Sales Representative to manage existing accounts and drive new business across the North of Ireland and bordering counties. Ideal Field Sales Representative will have an engineering background, strong communication skills, and the ability to deliver technical solutions in a client-facing role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a base of existing clients while actively identifying and converting new business opportunities.
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings across the assigned territory, building strong relationships within food, pharma, and industrial sectors.
  • Create and deliver a weekly call plan, with structured reporting on progress and pipeline.
  • Collaborate with internal sales and operational teams to deliver high levels of customer service.
  • Report to the office once per week and maintain regular communication with the senior leadership team.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong engineering background with the ability to understand mechanical components and client technical needs.
  • Experience in a field-based or customer-facing technical environment.
  • Self-motivated, organised, and capable of managing your own time effectively in a field sales role.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust across a range of sectors.
  • Valid UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across Northern Ireland and into the Republic of Ireland regularly.
