Our esteemed client is the largest stockist of storage equipment in the Greater Belfast area, delivering expertly across Northern Ireland and Ireland.

We are seeking a candidate who can seamlessly blend their experience and skills to bolster existing business and cultivate new opportunities for success.

Key Accountabilities and Duties:

  • Proactively source and develop business opportunities with both new and existing customers, through a means of various methods e.g. cold calling, networking, referrals etc
  • Seek new business opportunities in dormant accounts
  • Respond to sales enquiries and concerns by phone, email or in person in a timely manner
  • Schedule and attend customer appointments
  • Accurately survey, measure and plan project as per customer requirements and make recommendations of best products to suit.
  • Demonstration and presentation of company products / services to the customer
  • Quotation, follow up, negotiation and closing of sales against a sales target
  • Customer retention management

Essential Criteria

  • Hold a full clean driving license
  • Proven track record of working in a sales and customer focused environment and exceeding sales targets
  • Proactive, results driven, reliable and trustworthy
  • Excellent numeracy, literacy and communication skills
  • High competence in IT programs skills to include, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to recognise sales opportunities with the confidence to negotiate and the persistence to close the sale
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills both with potential customers and as part of a busy team
  • Time management skills and the ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure whilst prioritizing workload
  • High standards and attention to detail with a particular focus on dimensions
  • Meticulous and systematic record of customer information to allow timely follow up and completion of sales process
  • Ability to efficiently plan sales calls with regards to vehicle utilisation and time management

Desirable Criteria

  • Previous experience in Business to Business sales
  • 3rd Level qualification in business related studies
  • Experience in scale drawings
