Field Sales Manager - Ingredients

This is a long-standing and well-established business that is prominent in the food manufacturing sector, covering various segments—all top quality and BRC Grade A certified. They have sites across the UK and Ireland and are committed to innovation and reducing food waste.

About the Role

Your mission is to drive growth by managing existing accounts and securing new business across the territory. This field-based role suits a confident sales professional skilled in prospecting, lead conversion, and closing deals. You will also support the UK & Ireland team with technical expertise and product trials to deliver measurable value to customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business and manage the full sales cycle—from initial contact to deal closure and beyond.
  • Conduct product trials at customer sites to demonstrate performance and efficiency improvements.
  • Build strong, long-term partnerships through regular visits and tailored, value-driven solutions.
  • Maintain pricing, pipeline forecasting, and CRM updates, collaborating with the wider sales team to expand reach.

Candidate Profile

  • 3–5 years’ experience in the food industry, preferably with a food manufacturing background and a related qualification such as a food science degree.
  • A target-driven individual focused on growing market share.
  • Technically proficient and comfortable leading product trials.

The role (ref: 8917) offers a salary of £35,000, commensurate with experience.

This is a remote role, requiring travel across the UK, primarily south of Birmingham.

The package includes a company vehicle, performance-based bonus, and opportunities for career progression.

Working hours are Monday to Friday.
