Overview

Sales Manager — Leicester based, Nationwide coverage. Salary £50,000 to £60,000 plus car/allowance and bonus. Managing a team of 4.

Are you a high performing, hands on Sales Manager with a proven track record in increasing Turnover and Margins within SME's? Do you want autonomy and freedom to develop and grow a successful team within a hardworking, passionate, high performing environment?

We're a well established, successful business who've increased sales by over 21% in the past 2 years. We work across lots of markets and provide our products to some of the most popular businesses in the UK. We employ 40 people, and you'll be a key part of growth with a solid, reasonably sized team.

We're proud of our long-standing leadership and culture; our MD has progressed from Marketing through several promotions in the last decade. This role reports into him and the board.

We will give you all the tools to succeed — the knowledge within the business on our products and customers — and backing from the Management Team.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop a team of 4 sales professionals.
  • Commit to exceeding sales targets and KPIs; understand numbers and be commercially aware.
  • Develop the team: assess initial capabilities and implement a plan to address gaps in the first months.
  • Win, manage, and grow some of our most important large key accounts.
Qualifications & Expectations
  • Proven, high-performing, hands-on sales management experience with a track record of increasing turnover and margins within SMEs.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and people development skills.
  • Ability to work with autonomy and influence across the business to drive growth.
