Who are we looking for?

T his role is responsible for contributing heavily towards the effectiveness of a busy Fixed Connectivity team, show casing and educating both internally and externally on Gammas extensive and continuously developing connectivity product portfolio whilst providing detailed support across a large and demanding channel partner base. You will be responsible for conducting agenda-based meetings and training sessions with partners in the field, executing product pitches and working to establish Gamma as a primary choice of supplier in order to increase the number of partners actively selling Gammas Fixed Connectivity based solutions. The role will therefore require a good level of Microsoft application knowledge.

What will you be doing day-to-day?

  • The knowledge of high-level support across Gammas Fixed Connectivity products - An ability to support fixed connectivity related sales, will therefore be the key area to the role
  • Working as a resource across the Channel area of the business - Supporting the wider Sales Team with fixed connectivity knowledge to drive sales. This is a field-based role, with travel and site visits expected
  • Working to a target against our Connectivity products - Ethernet, SoGEA, FTTP and broadband derivatives as well as the security portfolio
  • Assist responding to base migration opportunities
  • Selling, closing, sales pitching for and on behalf of BDM’s and partners for Gamma alike - Self management of diary and Salesforce required with regular reviews and feedback of resulting opportunity progress
  • Being the ‘go to’ person who can provide informative and accurate answers and the person of trust to deliver a pitch perfect presentation and demo that will ultimately close the deal.
  • Be fully knowledgeable of the Fixed Connectivity proposition and in a position to discuss, defend, build value into the Gamma proposition - Regular contribution with any competitor insights, presenting back findings, observations, discussion points and opinions
  • Commercial initiative - Ensure competitiveness and introduce new promotion ideas where needed
  • Educating others on the Fixed Connectivity proposition both internally and externally, to include roadmap
  • Be the ‘go to’ person, the expert in Gamma’s Fixed Connectivity products and associated portfolio of services.

What you’ll need:

  • Experienced presenter – will be required to pitch and demo Gamma’s fixed product portfolio via a number of mediums (face to face or virtual)
  • Training – the ability to inform, educate and captivate a sales based audience.
  • Able to articulate the commercial and operational benefits of fixed connectivity products to both informed and uninformed parties
  • A successful track record in selling and/or supporting sales into SMB and Mid-Market.
  • The ability to identify, develop and close sales opportunities.
  • To be able to plan and run interactive sales seminars based on the needs of our partners and our employees.
  • Be knowledgeable of a continuously changing telco market
  • Proactively and regularly feedback, promote marketing initiatives and assist shaping the product in line with market expectations.
