Job description

A vacancy has become available for a Field Sales Executive within a waste management company.

The focus of this role is on growing new customer accounts.

To succeed in this position, you should be a self-motivated and target-driven individual with proven sales experience within a waste management company. You should also possess strong commercial awareness and excellent communication skills; a competitive desire and drive to succeed and achieve results are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure sales and growth targets are achieved and exceeded.
  • Maintain and develop strong customer relationships, ensuring customer inquiries are handled efficiently, and develop effective relationships with distribution partner branches, sales engineers, and their customer base.
  • Continuously develop new business in the area, focusing on identifying potential customers and supporting partners in upselling company products.
  • Increase awareness of local market conditions and provide feedback on competitor activity.
  • Focus on generating new business and driving specifications.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations as required.

Key Attributes

  • Proven sales experience in a field-based role.
  • Full clean driving license to attend customer sites as needed.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships.
