Field Sales Engineer

Randstad are currently recruiting for Field Sales Engineers to come and work for Yotta Volt on a permanent basis. The salary for this position is up to £65,000 per annum, working Monday to Friday. This is a remote position based within the UK, reporting to the Regional Sales Director.

Yotta Volt is a group of companies with local entities in Greece, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic and Poland and the UK. Since 2005, they have been providing test & measurement solutions for engineers and scientists. They are now the authorized distributor of National Instruments (NI) and also deliver instrumentation, educational laboratories and added value services from a number of world leading product and solution providers. Today they cover 85 countries in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Roles & Responsibilities

Handling the entire range of our solutions for automated test & measurement and academic laboratories
Meeting new clients and develop long term relationships, through managing and interpreting their requirements
Meeting regular sales targets and coordinating sales projects
Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product meets client needs
Negotiating tender and contract terms and conditions
Providing pre-sales technical assistance, demonstrations and product education
Working on after-sales support services and providing technical back up as required
Arranging and carrying out product training
Preparing reports for head office and keeping customer records
Supporting marketing activities by attending marketing events
Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts.

The ideal candidate will -

Have a university degree in engineering or science.
Be fluent in English language
Be able to travel within the assigned region.
Have an outgoing personality, excellent communication skills, be ambitious and results oriented.
Possess a valid driver's license.

The following qualifications will be considered as additional assets:


Programming experience in the LabVIEW platform.
Background in data acquisition / test & measurement technology fields
Experience in B2B sales of technology products
