Role Description

As a self-employed Field Sales Consultant, you will have the opportunity to earn competitive uncapped commissions by building relationships with small businesses and demonstrating the value of SumUp products. You will act as a solutions consultant, offering our comprehensive product toolkit in-house.

We are assembling an ambitious Field Sales team and seek individuals passionate about sales, driven to succeed, with a proven track record of exceeding targets. Our goal is to support and empower more business owners, and we need your help to achieve this.

What you’ll do

  • Identify and engage high-potential clients within your designated territory, focusing on small and medium-sized businesses.
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings and deliver persuasive product demonstrations of SumUp's Card reader and POS solutions.
  • Communicate our products' value proposition effectively, addressing client needs and objections with finesse.
  • Generate leads proactively and build a robust sales pipeline through networking, referrals, and targeted activities.

You’ll be great for this role if

  • You have successful experience in a prior Field Sales role, preferably from hospitality, retail, or point-of-sale solutions.
  • You can consistently exceed sales targets and deliver outstanding results.
  • You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building trust and fostering long-term client relationships.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of your market and a genuine passion for supporting local SMBs.
  • You have experience with outbound lead generation, cold calling, and pipeline building.
