Job summary

Rentokil Initial Specialist Hygiene is hiring a Field Sales Consultant to cover Brighton, Sussex and surrounding areas from the Croydon branch. You will visit customers, build relationships and sell specialist hygiene products and services, with a focus on surveys, proposals and pricing.

You will join a team offering a competitive basic salary (£26,492 p.a.) with OTE (£35,000–£40,000), company vehicle, pension, private healthcare and RI Rewards. Full-time, 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence held for more than two years, with no more than six penalty points.
• Background in retail or sales is advantageous as you will work face-to-face with customers.

Responsibilities

• Visit new and existing customers to build relationships and sell hygiene products and services.
• Carry out surveys, propose treatments based on expertise, and price the work.
• Generate and develop leads independently and with colleagues.
• Deliver excellent customer service and achieve KPIs and targets.
• Maintain relationships with clients and colleagues to drive additional sales.
• Pass DBS check if required for the role.

The Field Sales Consultant Role

In this field-based role, you’ll visit both new and existing customers, where you will be expected to build relationships and sell our innovative specialist hygiene products and services. Key responsibilities include:

• Carrying out surveys for clients, giving proposals on treatments based on your expertise and pricing the work
• Generating and developing leads on your own and with other colleagues in Rentokil Initial
• Building relationships with your colleagues and clients
• Offering excellent customer service to our current customers, as well as gaining extra sales
• Working towards and achieving set KPIs and targets
• Full UK driving licence held for more than two years, with no more than six penalty points.

• Background in retail or sales is advantageous as you will be expected to work face-to-face with customers regularly
• You may be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role you have applied for
