KCOM is seeking two Field Sales Advisors for a door-to-door sales role in Kingston upon Hull. This full-time position involves engaging with residents to promote KCOM’s full-fibre broadband services. Field Sales Advisor, Door-to-Door Sales (Permanent, Full time)

Are you a natural communicator with a drive for sales? Do you thrive on meeting new people and helping them find the right services? We’re looking for two Field-Based Sales Advisors to join our team, engaging directly with residents across cities, towns, and rural communities to introduce them to KCOM’s full-fibre broadband services.

This is a face-to-face, door-to-door role, where you’ll be the first point of contact for potential customers—informing, educating, and signing them up for our high-speed internet solutions. If you’re target-driven, love working independently, and enjoy the buzz of making a sale, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Salary – £23400 plus £12000 OTC, uncapped

Location – Fields Based, Hull and surrounding areas

Advert Closing Date – 3rd June 2025

Key Responsibilities

  • Door-to-door sales – engaging with potential customers across KCOM’s original and expansion areas.
  • Building relationships – helping people understand the benefits of KCOM’s services.
  • Managing the sales process – from first contact to completion, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Hitting and exceeding sales targets – driving results through self-motivation and persistence.
  • Providing excellent customer service – ensuring positive interactions and customer satisfaction.
  • Gathering market insights – feeding back on trends, offers, and competitor activity.

Requirements

We need motivated individuals who are confident, resilient, and ready to make an impact. To be successful, you’ll need:

  • Sales experience (preferably in field sales or customer-facing roles).
  • Driver’s licence and access to own vehicle. Travel expenses will be paid in line with Inland Revenue guidelines.
  • Strong communication and listening skills – the ability to engage and persuade.
  • Self-motivation and drive – a results-focused mindset with a passion for hitting targets.
  • A positive, adaptable attitude – ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Good team player skills – working collaboratively while managing your own workload effectively.
