Field Robotics Deployment Engineer - Hardware Integration / Cameras / Sensors / Lidar / ROS / C++ / Python

Are you interested in joining a dynamic team at a high growth European Robotics company expanding across Europe and the US?

We're working with a rapidly scaling, well-funded company, who are at the forefront of turning machines into robots.

We're looking for a Field Robotics Deployment Engineerto lead end-to-end client deployments for a cutting-edge, autonomy system. Based near Oxford (with flexible hybrid/remote work and high mobility), you'll bridge the gap between R&D and live field operation, working hands-on with ROS/ROS 2, Linux, C++, and Python to set up, troubleshoot, and optimize complex hardware/software systems on real-world machinery.

This is a full-time, permanent position based in the UK, remote, however, being located near Oxford is preferred. There will be extensive travel between Oxford / London, wider Europe, the US and other locations. You can be based in other locations in the UK but expect travel to be required often at short notice.

Salary includes base dependant on experience level + equity + potential relocation support in the UK if needed. They may be able to go a little higher depending on experience level.

• Around 2-15 years experience in hardware implementations in Robotics
• Strong hardware integration and customer deployment experience with knowledge in areas such as sensors, cameras, Lidar, Radar etc.
• Experience with ROS and Linux environments
• Some experience with C++ / Python, but expert level is not required here. You must be able to understand the code though and potentially develop basic solutions. Anything more advanced will be passed along to the SW Engineering teams
• Good communication skills and ideally experience working closely with customers
