Job summary

CoStar Group in the Midlands is seeking a Field Research Photographer to capture and update imagery for commercial properties across assigned submarkets. You will document building attributes, geolocate properties, and upload data to the in-house Research team using field mapping software and the Adobe suite.

The role requires a drone qualification (A2/GVC), a relevant degree or equivalent experience, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Drone pilot to A2 Certificate of Competence or GVC.
• Degree or equivalent experience required.
• Willingness to travel across the country for field projects.
• Proficiency with Windows, MS Office and internet apps.
• Portfolio of exterior and interior property imagery preferred.
• Adobe suite for post processing (Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro).
• Strong communication and organizational skills; adaptable to new processes.

Responsibilities

• Drive or walk assigned submarkets to collect imagery and updates.
• Cross-reference leads with CoStar database and gather building data.
• Photograph and collect attributes for lease/sale properties in the territory.
• Post-process images and create geocoded footprints for buildings.
• Log Timings and report workflow to the manager; daily data uploads.
• Communicate professionally with property managers via phone, email, and in person.
• Maintain CoStar safety standards and equipment; represent the company professionally.
