As part of the management team within the Brackley branch, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and exceeding business goals.

As the Field Repair Manager, you'll lead a team of skilled Lift Engineers and subcontractors, guiding them towards achieving our Business Plan targets for the Major Plan objectives. The role covers Modernisation through to New installation, from Platform Lifts to Passenger and Goods Lifts.

You will have the opportunity to shape and inspire your team, ensuring they deliver exceptional service aligned with our company values and Health and Safety standards.

This role is ideal for someone with previous experience in the lift industry, preferably in a management or senior technical engineering position.

The successful candidate will be based at our Brackley Service Branch, with travel expected across Oxford, Reading, Hemel Hempstead, Slough, and other locations. A full UK driving licence is essential.

You will receive a competitive salary and benefits, including a company car or car allowance.

Responsibilities:

1. Efficiently plan engineer workloads, including the allocation of repair works.
2. Maintain a portfolio of projects.
3. Manage absence, performance, and conduct appraisals for the team.
4. Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety procedures, conduct risk assessments and prepare method statements.
5. Perform regular site monitoring.
6. Maintain relationships with customers, addressing queries and complaints.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience in the lift or similar service industry with transferable skills is essential.
2. Relevant management qualifications are desirable.
3. Qualified to at least NVQ level 3 in Lift Engineering.
