JLB Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer to service and repair commercial refrigeration systems across the UK. You will install, commission and maintain equipment at customer sites, ensuring high standards of safety and professionalism.

The role requires occasional travel abroad, a drive for quality workmanship, and a willingness to work flexible hours including standby rotation. A strong fault-finding capability and commitment to health and safety are essential.

Responsabilités

• Install, maintain, service and repair refrigeration and associated equipment.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently to minimise customer downtime.
• Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance works.
• Attend customer sites and represent the Company professionally at all times.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with Company procedures and industry standards.
• Maintain accurate service reports, job sheets and any required documentation.
• Comply with all Company policies, procedures and reasonable management instructions.
• Participate in the standby and emergency call‑out rota, providing out-of-hours support when scheduled.
• Work additional hours, weekends and public holidays where business needs require.
• Travel throughout the UK and, where necessary, overseas to support customer requirements.
• Maintain company‑issued vehicles, tools, PPE, mobile devices and equipment in good condition.
• Report vehicle incidents, licence changes, equipment damage or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding Company and customer information.
• Complete mandatory training and maintain all required professional qualifications and accreditations.
• Support colleagues and, where required, undertake additional duties or temporarily perform higher‑grade responsibilities.
• Promote excellent customer relationships and uphold the Company’s professional standards.
