Job summary

COREcruitment Ltd are recruiting experienced Refrigeration Engineers to join a national facilities management provider supporting a major retail portfolio. Opportunities are available on both permanent and temporary contracts, with a field-based role delivering service across a large supermarket estate.

Key duties include service, maintenance and repair of commercial refrigeration systems, fault finding and reactive breakdown responses, and planned preventive maintenance in line with SFG20.

Qualifications

• Proven experience on commercial refrigeration in retail/FM.
• NVQ/City & Guilds Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance, and repair of commercial refrigeration systems (packs, integrals, walk-ins).
• Fault finding and reactive breakdown response.
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with SFG20 standards.
• Ensuring all work complies with F-Gas regulations and health & safety standards.
• Accurate completion of job reports via PDA/CAF system.
• Providing excellent client-facing service while on-site.
