Job summary

COREcruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join our national facilities management portfolio. The role is field-based, covering a large supermarket estate, with both permanent and temporary opportunities and an OTE of £60K.

You will deliver service, maintenance and reactive support, perform PPMs to SFG20 standards, and ensure compliance with F-Gas and health and safety regulations, reporting via PDA/CAF.

Qualifications

• Proven experience on commercial refrigeration systems in retail or FM environments.
• Valid F-Gas (Category 1) qualification.
• NVQ/City & Guilds in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance, and repair of commercial refrigeration systems (packs, integrals, walk-ins)
• Fault finding and reactive breakdown response
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with SFG20 standards
• Ensuring all work is completed in compliance with F-Gas regulations and health & safety standards
• Accurate completion of job reports via PDA/CAF system
• Providing excellent client-facing service while on-site
