Job summary

Oyster Recruitment Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a Refrigeration Engineer to diagnose and repair faults on commercial/industrial plants, and to perform maintenance and commissioning on customer sites. This field-based role centres on building lasting customer relationships and handling on-call duties.

Ideal candidates have NVQ Level 2 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, F-Gas certification, a full UK driving licence, and proven communication skills for excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Proven field-based Service Technician or Refrigeration Engineer experience.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills to build rapport.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
• Confidence using diagnostic software, mobile apps and MS Office.
• NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or equivalent qualification.
• F-Gas certification (or equivalent).
• Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair faults on a wide range of commercial and industrial plants and equipment using cutting-edge diagnostic tools.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance, emergency breakdown repairs and commissioning work on customer sites.
• Act as the main point of contact for your customers, building trusted, long-term relationships.
• Participating in an on-call rota
