We are currently recruiting for a Field Performance Manager - Mechanical & Electrical to be responsible and accountable for the performance and effectiveness of a team of highly skilled mechanics and electricians within the Hampshire area. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the team maintains assets (both planned and reactive) to optimize operational performance, following all policies and procedures to remain safe, compliant, and cost-effective.

Reporting to the Regional Maintenance Manager within the Water Resource & Production function, you will manage around 14 Mechanical and Electrical technicians reporting directly to you and be responsible for managing a budget of up to £800K per year. As a strong leader, you will drive team performance and focus on performance improvement and efficiency. The role will be approximately 60% leadership and 40% involves M&E operational management and resolving technical operational issues.
After completing your training, you will be part of our Field Event Coordinator rota with a requirement to cover 1 in 6 standby shifts. An additional bonus will be paid, which is an added advantage!
Your key accountabilities will include:
To be successful in this role, you will be a strong leader with a good understanding of all operational processes and how they link end-to-end, with a good understanding of mechanical and/or electrical disciplines. It is highly desirable to have NVQ Level 3 and BTECH Level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Your proactive and self-starting nature, along with your passion for driving team performance, will be key to making a difference to our customers and environment. Utilizing your technical abilities, you will focus on making improvements to keep our sites running smoothly without interruptions.
