You will work with other teams to successfully complete installation and commissioning of systems for a variety of technologies, often including multiple disciplines such as Networking, Access Control, Electrical Systems, Intruder Detection systems, IT Hardware, and CCTV.

Your new role:

  • Commission and test equipment and systems, along with associated interfacing, ensuring accurate and timely completion in accordance with provided documentation.
  • Configure, fault-find, and maintain third-party equipment.
  • Work to preventive and corrective maintenance plans for existing and new equipment, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety strategy, developing and promoting health & safety amongst colleagues.
  • Perform out-of-hours on-call duties.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • In-depth knowledge and experience of installation, commissioning, and maintenance of CCTV/VSS Systems.
  • Experience in site activities including installing, configuring, and commissioning communications and telecoms equipment and services.
  • Excellent customer-facing qualities.
  • Strong communication skills, including presentation, numeracy, and written skills.
  • Confidence to work in controlled areas such as electrical substations.
