Job summary

SBFM is seeking an experienced Area Supervisor to join our field operations. You will oversee field-based activities, manage frontline teams, and support contract mobilisations across Reading and Oxford areas, ensuring consistent service delivery.

The role requires travel across sites in the UK, strong client focus, and the ability to drive improvements in performance and safety standards. Ideal candidates have prior facilities management experience and a proactive, engaging approach.

Qualifications

• IOSH Managing Safely qualification preferred or willingness to complete within 3 months.
• Excellent communication skills with clients and teams.
• Good IT literacy and ability to use company systems.
• Full, clean driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of service delivery and client satisfaction in line with KPIs.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships at local level.
• Conduct regular audits and ensure cleaning standards are met.
• Line management, inductions, training and development of frontline operatives.
• Support mobilisation of new contracts with site visits and training.
• Ensure health & safety compliance across all sites and staff.
