Unisys is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to cover Northern England, North Midlands and Scotland. You will design, implement and manage Cisco Meraki solutions, provide Level 2/3 network support, administer servers, and develop automation to optimize operations.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, implementing and maintaining Cisco Meraki networks.
• Ability to provide Level 2/3 network support across complex environments.
• Proficiency in monitoring, diagnosing and resolving network performance issues.
• Experience with scripting for network automation and routine tasks.
• Understanding of security best practices and ability to perform security scans.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage Cisco Meraki solutions for diverse environments across Northern England, North Midlands and Scotland.
• Provide network engineering support to ensure robust connectivity and performance.
• Administer development, test and production servers; install, upgrade and maintain software packages.
• Perform daily monitoring and proactive issue resolution for network systems.
• Develop automation scripts to streamline network operations and reduce manual tasks.
• Conduct regular security scans and assessments to maintain cybersecurity posture.
• Analyze data to identify operational issues and propose effective solutions.
• Plan and document new hardware, software and network infrastructure implementations.
• Contribute to network design, performance tuning and optimization.
