Job summary

Dawsongroup EMC is looking for a Mobile Engineer to service and repair specialist assets in the field, responding to breakdowns and servicing needs to keep customers operational.

You will diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on HGV, plant, forklifts and related equipment, use diagnostic tools, and manage your own workload with accurate electronic records. A Class 2 HGV licence is desirable.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with hydraulic, pneumatic and gearbox systems on HGV/plant/forklift equipment.
• NVQ Level 3 Plant or HGV qualification identified in job spec.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults across HGV, plant, forklifts and related equipment.
• Carry out servicing, PMI inspections, minor repairs and major repair work as required.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults across hydraulic, pneumatic, diesel and electrical systems.
• Manage your workload and vehicle stock, ensuring electronic job records are accurate and timely.
• Collaborate with colleagues, supervisors and service desk with safety as a priority.
