Job summary

Gi Group Holdings Recruitment Limited is hiring Meter Readers to collect data from gas, electricity and water meters at various locations. You will use a handheld device, update reads, and provide excellent customer service as part of a flexible, field-based role.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required.
• Manual UK Driving Licence with 1 year min, max 6 points, no offences.
• Willing to work in all weather conditions.
• Clear DBS check and credit report checks.
• 5 years employment history.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve data from domestic, commercial and industrial sites for Water, Gas and Electric Meters; full training provided.
• Carry out visual inspections of metering equipment.
• Charge Point Surveys.
• Drive independently and stay motivated in an autonomous role.
• Maintain a friendly, professional approach to work.
• Adhere to Health and Safety guidelines at all times.
