Job summary

Stark is seeking a Meter Data Technician to work on a field-based role across customer sites in Reading. You will travel to sites to read electric meters and perform annual safety checks while delivering excellent customer service.

Ideal candidates have some experience in meter reading or field-based roles, with full training provided. You will operate a Stark vehicle and follow strict health and safety procedures on site.

Qualifications

• Must complete mandatory training including DBS certificate and safety courses.
• Full UK driving licence held for at least 1 year.
• Ability to work independently on customer sites.
• Comfort with field-based work and occasional overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Carry out weekly vehicle checks and report issues.
• Attend sites, locate and read electric meters and perform safety checks.
• Record meters and downloads in the system daily.
• Liaise with site reception and maintain professional conduct.
• Notify departure and complete site documentation.
