Job summary

Stark Connect Limited in Brighton is seeking a reliable meter and safety technician. You will take half-hourly downloads from electric meters, perform annual safety checks, and maintain courteous service at customer sites.

The role involves on-site driving, locating meters, and accurately recording readings in the SMR system and spreadsheets, with daily reporting to the line manager. A full UK driving licence and DBS clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Must complete mandatory Stark induction and training.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to present documents.
• Willingness to travel and stay away from home when required.
• Able to work in all weather and sometimes dirty conditions.

Responsibilities

• Undertake weekly check on Stark vehicle and report issues.
• Drive to site safely and locate the correct meter.
• Locate meter, verify MPAN and Meter Serial Number.
• Record meter checks and downloads on the spreadsheet.
• Return completed spreadsheet to line manager daily.
• Notify onsite Reception/Security of departure and follow procedures.
