Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy is seeking an experienced Mechanical Superintendent to provide input and technical expertise for mechanical construction on utility-scale solar EPC projects. On-site supervision of Field Engineers and Foremen ensures a safe, productive, and quality job while controlling costs and adhering to project specifications.

The role includes coordinating labor, materials, tools, and subcontractors, sharing resources across projects, and mentoring staff.

Qualifications

• Experience overseeing mechanical construction on Solar EPC projects.
• Valid driver's license and clean MVR.
• Ability to supervise multiple crews.
• Strong knowledge of tools and equipment.
• Willingness to relocate to project site.

Responsibilities

• Supervise General Foremen, Field Engineers and Foremen on-site.
• Schedule equipment, materials, and subcontractors to maximize production and control costs.
• Implement standardized Work Plans and drive process improvements.
• Act as a consultant on mechanical scopes of work.
• Ensure safety compliance per regulations and project safety plan.
• Collaborate with Site Manager and other leaders to plan staffing.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate change orders.
• Maintain cost reporting and ensure conformance with Quality Plan.
• Assist in communications with owner on major project.
• Represent company professionally with stakeholders.
