Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and ambitious Field Marketing Manager to join Informa TechTarget’s Demand Generation team. This role will be responsible for planning and executing face-to-face and digital programs that help engage target accounts, accelerate pipeline, and support sales goals. The ideal candidate combines both experience with event strategies and digital marketing campaign execution necessary to promote them.
Within Corporate Marketing, the Demand Gen team supports brand, customer acquisition, growth, content creation, and operations. Our team creates campaigns like hosted events, tradeshows, webinars, virtual events, e-books, and blogs. We collaborate with Product and Sales to target and engage audiences, converting them into sales pipeline to drive revenue. We are passionate about B2B marketing and continuously seek to optimize and improve our efforts, enjoying the process along the way!
Responsibilities:
- Report to the Sr. Marketing Programs Manager and work with the Director of Field Marketing and Sales Leadership on regional event planning, development, execution, and reporting. This includes organizing in-person events and presence at tradeshows.
- Plan, manage, and execute marketing programs such as webinars, virtual events, and field activations to increase engagement and generate pipeline aligned with go-to-market goals.
- Aim to meet campaign goals (registrations, attendance, lead conversions) and address any shortfalls.
- Identify marketing talent and thought leaders for presentation opportunities at events.
- Create compelling email copy and promotional assets to boost attendance and engagement for field programs and events.
- Partner proactively with Marketing Operations, Product Marketing, Customer Success, and Sales teams to support programs and projects, fostering collaboration.
- Lead project kick-offs and strategic planning, knowing when to lead, create space, or draw insights from teams.
Qualifications:
- Self-motivated, able to manage multiple projects independently with attention to detail and high-quality results.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for various mediums, from emails to event interactions.
- Passion for the fast-paced B2B marketing environment.
- Reliable, accountable, and proactive in addressing challenges.
- Positive attitude and quick learner of new marketing ideas and technologies.
- Creative mindset to elevate programs and campaigns.
- Experience in B2B marketing, demand generation, or marketing agencies.
- Event management and organization experience.
- Proven project management skills.
- Strong relationship-building skills, both internally and externally.
- German language skills are a plus.
