Overview

Mobile Field Maintenance Engineer (Ventilation Systems) – Location: London Region – Full Time - Permanent

Role purpose

The position is open for someone to join an experienced Maintenance Team and ensure that the company's products and systems continue to provide their clients with the healthier, safer and cost-effective environment they expect.


This will require travelling to various existing, retrofit and new build facilities and sites across parts of London, working in partnership with other engineers in the region.


The role will be supported by project coordinators in the company's central office and parts and equipment will be ordered and delivered to site from these support teams.


The position will liaise directly with clients, sub-contractors and building developers to ensure products can be checked, maintained or installed safely with minimal impact.


The role must also promote and comply with safe working practices, following company procedures and the safe keeping of all issued equipment (e.g. PPE, company vehicle, mobile phone).


On-site duties


  • Service, Maintain and Repair Ventilation systems, taking responsibility for aspects involved in this task including compliance accurate and prompt completion of paperwork.

  • Responding to customer callouts.

  • Evaluating and solving problems.

  • Repairing, testing and maintaining equipment.

  • Booking and scheduling of own workload


Experience / Qualifications


  • Minimum Level 2 C&G/EAL Diploma in Electrical Installations

  • Experience with HVAC/fire alarm/safety systems, CCTV security, or other low voltage control systems is advantageous.

  • A Construction background would be advantageous.

  • A full UK driving license and the ability to work flexible hours are essential
