Job summary

KPI-Recruiting-Ltd seeks an LEV Test Engineer to cover Northamptonshire and the Midlands. You will travel to customer sites to inspect, test, and certify LEV systems in accordance with HSG258 and COSHH, producing accurate reports and certificates.

The role suits engineers with LEV experience or mechanically minded professionals looking to develop expertise in occupational hygiene and compliance, with a company vehicle and training opportunities, plus a competitive salary and pension.

Qualifications

• Experience testing or servicing LEV systems preferred.
• BOHS P601 preferred, training may be provided.
• Mechanical or electrical engineering background helpful.
• Good understanding of COSHH and HSG258 guidance.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct LEV examinations and testing per regulations (HSG258/COSHH).
• Inspect extraction systems, dust/fume control equipment, ventilation systems.
• Produce accurate test reports and client certificates.
• Identify faults and recommend corrective actions.
• Calibrate and maintain testing equipment.
• Provide professional LEV system performance advice to customers.
• Travel across Northamptonshire and the Midlands; occasional overnight stays.
