Field Lead Install Technician

HomeWorks Energy (New England Smart Energy Group) is rapidly growing its Weatherization team, and we are looking to expand our leadership! We seek candidates with a construction background and the soft skills necessary to motivate and lead a team. This position involves hands-on training in the field. The ideal candidate will have basic field work knowledge and a strong desire to train diligently and manage their own crew.

Position Type: Full-time hourly position eligible for overtime and bonuses based on performance, in addition to hourly pay.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage a small team of 1 to 2 installers
2. Complete work efficiently and to standards
3. Ensure work meets "Energize CT" standards
4. Provide excellent customer experience
5. Follow safety and installation best practices
6. Complete proper documentation for each job
7. Collect copayments from customers
8. Drive box trucks in compliance with DOT and state regulations

Requirements:

• Construction management experience (not required)
• Crew Lead Certification (not required)
• Experience with "Energize CT" (a plus)
