Job summary

JP Engineering in Coventry is seeking a Land Surveyor to join our growing team on exciting projects. You will conduct topographical surveys, measured building surveys and construction setting-out across busy sites.

Using total stations, GPS/GNSS and laser scanning, you will collect and process data to produce accurate surveys and detailed AutoCAD drawings, collaborating closely with engineers and architects to meet tight timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics or a related discipline is required.
• Experience with topographical surveys and measured building surveys.
• Proficiency with total stations and GPS/GNSS equipment.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and surveying data-processing software.

Responsibilities

• Carry out topographical and measured building surveys.
• Undertake engineering and construction setting-out surveys.
• Use total stations, GPS/GNSS and laser scanning equipment.
• Collect, process and interpret accurate survey data.
• Produce detailed survey drawings using AutoCAD or similar software.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects and project teams.
• Ensure work meets accuracy standards and project deadlines.
