The Role

As the first line support for the company, you will be responsible for triaging ad-hoc support requests, providing remote or on-site support as necessary. The role requires travel to various sites.

The role also involves routine maintenance of equipment and services, including basic installation, configuration, and support of IT equipment (PCs, phones, laptops, printers, etc.), Office 365 SharePoint management, email account creation, backup maintenance, system checks, and general troubleshooting.

You will be based at the company's office in Cobham, with regular visits to sites in Mill Hill (North London), Sidcup (North West Kent), Leatherhead, Woking, Ewell, and Godalming (Surrey). In the next 10 months, new sites in Hampton Court and Banstead will open, which will also require visits, along with any new developments purchased.

You must be prepared to assist with out-of-hours support if required.

The Person

The Ideal Candidate Should Have:

  • 1-2 years in a similar role
  • Experience troubleshooting Microsoft Windows 10 and 11 issues
  • Hardware fault diagnosis and repair experience
  • Office 365 app setup and support
  • Experience with Multi-Factor Authentication administration
  • Office 365 storage and SharePoint setup and support
  • Basic networking protocols (IP addressing, DHCP, DNS)
  • Driving license and willingness to travel
  • Commitment to enhancing residents' well-being and fostering community
  • Adaptability and decision-making skills to manage priorities
  • Willingness to work flexibly to meet business needs

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and record IT help desk requests via phone or email
  • Initial triage and response to support calls, escalating when necessary
  • Resolve helpdesk requests, including user creation, SharePoint management, email setup, backup, system checks, and troubleshooting
  • Perform on-site initial analysis of IT issues
  • Install, configure, and support IT equipment
  • Assist with out-of-hours support if needed
