Location: Birchgrove Head Office, Cobham

Salary: £16,200 - £18000 (£27,000 - £30,000 FTE)

Hours: 22.5 Hours per week

The Role

As the first line support for the company, you will take responsibility for the triage of ad-hoc support requests, providing remote or hands-on on-site support as necessary. The role will require travelling to sites.

The role will also entail routine maintenance of equipment and services - Basic installation, configuration and support of IT equipment (PC, phones, laptops, printers etc), Office 365 SharePoint management, e-mail account creation, backup maintenance, service and system checks, and general IT troubleshooting.

You will be based out of the companies office in Cobham, and will need to make regular trips to the sites in Mill Hill (North London), Sidcup (North West Kent) and Leatherhead, Woking, Ewell and Godalming (Surrey). Within the next 10 months the company will also be opening new sites in Hampton Court and Banstead which will also require visits, along with any new developments that are purchased.

You must be prepared to assist with out of ours support requirements if required.

The Person

The Ideal Applicant Should Ideally Have

  • 1-2 years in a similar role
  • Experience with trouble shooting Microsoft Windows 10 and 11 issues
  • Experience with hardware fault diagnosis and repairs
  • Office 365 app setup and support.
  • Experience with Multi Factor Authentication Administration.
  • Office 365 storage and SharePoint setup and support
  • Basic Networking protocols (IP addressing, DHCP, DNS)
  • Driving Licence and willingness to travel

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Receive, manage and record IT help desk requests received either by telephone or email.
  • On working days, initial triage and response to support calls, escalating where necessary to IT Manager/Out Sourced Managed Service
  • Resolve helpdesk requests e.g. creation of new users, Office 365 SharePoint management, e-mail account creation, backup maintenance, service and system checks, and general IT troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on, on-site initial break-fix analysis of IT issues
  • Basic installation, configuration and support of IT equipment (PC, phones, laptops, printers etc).
  • Being prepared to assist with out of hours support requirements if required.
