Job summary

Jessica McCormack is seeking a Store Inventory & Operations Specialist to maintain stock accuracy and support two boutiques (Harrods and Sloane Street). The role requires regular travel between sites, close collaboration with Inventory Control, Retail, Logistics, Facilities & Risk Management and IT teams, and on-site operational support.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory control or store operations in retail; fine jewellery preferred.
• Experience with stock movements, receiving, transfers, stocktakes, cycle counts and variance investigations.
• Experience using a retail ERP/stock system; Microsoft Business Central desirable.
• Experience handling high-value, delicate or security-sensitive goods with discretion.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 apps (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel).
• Fire Warden or H&S or manual-handling training desirable; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintain stock accuracy across Harrods and Sloane Street through regular counts and reconciliations.
• Book in deliveries, prepare outbound stock moves, and update system records.
• Lead cycle counts, stocktakes and variances; investigate discrepancies with Inventory Control Manager.
• Coordinate with couriers, security, and boutique teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Support facilities, safety, and security tasks for two sites, reporting issues and assisting with compliance.
