Job summary

Air Products is seeking an Installation and Maintenance Technician to support maintenance at customer sites and production facilities across the UK. You will handle troubleshooting, installation, commissioning, and preventive maintenance of control and instrumentation systems, while ensuring safety and compliance.

The role requires COMPEX approval for field instrumentation in flammable atmospheres, electrical inspection/test qualifications, and experience with PLC-based controls.

Qualifications

Minimum customer-facing experience in a service/installation role.
Qualified to work on Field Instrumentation inFlammable Atmospheres- COMPEX Approved.
Qualified to carry out Electrical Inspection and Test on electrical systems.

Responsibilities

Ensure safe operation and legal compliance of sites.
Carry out inspections prior to due dates using SAP planning tool.
Respond to unscheduled maintenance quickly and accurately.
Maintain written and electronic documentation.
Manage plant instrumentation and control systems (pressure, temp, flow, etc.).
