A leading garage equipment workshop service provider is looking for a home-based Field Installation Engineer. In this role, you will install diverse garage equipment, ensuring adherence to health and safety laws, and maintain high standards while managing documentation. Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment required.
• Full clean UK driving licence essential.
• Ability to follow procedures and work instructions to meet standards.

Responsibilities

• Install garage equipment products including vehicle lifts and MOT bays.
• Complete and submit paperwork to comply with Quality System Compliance.
• Manage own van stock to meet First Time Fix targets.

Our client is one of the UK’s Largest Garage Equipment Workshop Service & Spares Providers. You will be an integral team member; a home-based Field Installation Engineer, installing of a wide range of garage equipment. You will be provided with a fully racked van to ensure a smooth service is provided

Main Responsibilities:

• Carry out installation of garage equipment products including vehicle lifts, brake testers, MOT bays, tyre equipment etc.
• Completion and submission of accurate paperwork as required complying with the Quality System Compliance and Health & Safety laws
• Ensuring control of own van stock to meet First Time Fix targets
• Continued development of skills required ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard

Skills & Experience:

• Experience in working with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment, preferably garage equipment
• Able to follow procedures and work instructions, working to specified standards
• To be flexible and willing to work overtime if necessary
• Full clean UK driving licence is essential
• Company van, PPE, phone, tablet, accommodation, meal allowance and tools are all provided
