Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced HVAC/Refrigeration Service Engineer for a mobile, field-based role across Northampton, Cambridge and Luton. You will service, maintain and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems in hospitality and retail environments, with on-call standby and overtime rewarding the commitment.

Experience with Adande, H&K, Nordair Niche is advantageous; F-Gas certification is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in HVAC and/or refrigeration service and maintenance.
• Strong experience working on commercial refrigeration systems.
• Knowledge of hospitality sector equipment is highly desirable.
• Experience with Adande, H&K, Nordair Niche advantageous.
• F-Gas certification essential; gas qualifications desirable but not essential.
• Relevant qualifications City & Guilds / NVQ in HVAC and Refrigeration.
• Full UK Driving Licence; strong Health & Safety understanding.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Fault find and resolve issues efficiently across a range of equipment.
• Work on commercial refrigeration equipment (cold rooms, display cabinets, chillers, cellar cooling, ice machines).
• Deliver high-quality service to clients in line with SLAs.
• Complete service reports and compliance documentation accurately.
• Participate in on-call/standby rota.
