Senseco Systems is seeking a skilled Fire Service Engineer for a field-based role covering London and the South East. You will service, maintain and support fire detection and suppression systems, respond to emergencies, and participate in a callout rota.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in the fire protection industry.
• Servicing and faultfinding across multiple fire systems.
• Commissioning qualification for at least one listed brand.
• Ability to test and service to British Standards.
• A meticulous approach and ability to work independently.
• Clear communication and proactive problem-solving.
• Willingness to work night shifts when required.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and carry out PPM on fire detection and suppression systems.
• Respond to emergency callouts and deliver professional onsite support.
• Participate in the callout rota (one week at a time).
• Diagnose faults and complete minor repairs during visits.
• Ensure all work meets British Standards and is accurately documented.
• Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities to enhance safety.
• Keep your technical knowledge current through manufacturer and in-house training.
