Job summary

Smart Search Technical Ltd is seeking three Lead Service Engineers to join our specialist fire protection team in London and the South East. The role offers a challenging career path with exposure to high-end environments and data centre projects.

You will lead service and maintenance of fire systems, work on detection and suppression, and liaise directly with clients and site teams. A strong electrical background and independent, hands-on approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical engineering background.
• Proven fire detection and/or fire suppression experience.
• Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience in commercial or critical environments.
• Ability to work independently and own service activity.
• Good communication with clients and site teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead service and maintenance across specialist fire systems.
• Work on fire detection and fire suppression systems.
• Support projects within data centre environments.
• Carry out complex fault finding and diagnostics.
• Work directly with clients and site teams.
• Provide technical support and ensure systems operate to a high standard.
• Travel across London and the South East.
