Job summary

4Way Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Fire Extinguisher Engineer to service, install and maintain portable extinguishers across commercial and residential sites in Wakefield. You will manage your daily schedule, liaise with customers, and complete PDA reports in the field.

Essential BAFE certification and a full UK driving licence are required, with prior extinguisher technician experience preferred. The role offers a competitive base salary with an attractive OTE and joining bonus for fully trained

Qualifications

• BAFE Certification is essential.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Experience as a Fire Extinguisher Technician or Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and installation of portable fire extinguishers across commercial and residential sites.
• Manage your own daily service schedule, planning routes and appointments efficiently.
• Communicate directly with customers to arrange and confirm service visits.
• Record completed work accurately via PDA-based service reports.
• Work independently in the field, representing the company professionally at all times.
• Ensure all work meets current fire safety legislation and health & safety standards.
