Job summary

Mantech Safety Systems seeks a Safety Technician to install and recertify fall protection systems across the UK. You will liaise with on-site teams, perform PME/inspection tasks and contribute to on-site sales while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires training, travel nationwide, working at height, and a professional approach to customer service. A valid UK driving license is essential.

Qualifications

• GCSEs (English and Maths) at grade 4/C or above.
• Basic understanding of health and safety in a construction/work environment.
• NVQ Level 3 in Fall Protection or willing to complete NVQ.
• Full UK Driving Licence (Essential).

Responsibilities

• Install and commission Fall Protection Products on site throughout the UK.
• Repair and modify systems as required.
• Train on group company products and services.
• Interact with on-site personnel and clients and maintain a professional image.
• Recertify products on site, identify non-compliant systems and prepare inspection docs.
• Liaise with Contracts Department while on-site.
• PPE inspections as required.
• On-site sales of additional products and cross-selling.
• Adhere to reporting, Health and Safety and training requirements.
• Lifting/moving and manual handling of equipment.
• Drive the company van safely.
