Job summary

HSB is seeking an Engineer Surveyor Category 3 to perform statutory and contractual inspections of mechanical equipment across varied venues in South Yorkshire. The role combines field surveys with expert guidance to keep client operations safe and compliant.

Qualifications

• 1 - 3 years' experience in general engineering environments.
• Minimum Level NVQ 3, or equivalent award, in an engineering discipline
• Knowledge of statutory regulations such as LOLER, PUWER, PSSR, COSHH, and British Standards
• Holder of UK Driving licence, no more than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Carry out statutory and contractual inspections across a range of mechanical equipment.
• Work across diverse sites, from football grounds to zoos, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Help clients stay compliant, safe and operational within a supportive, expert-led environment.
