FieldCore is looking for engaged and driven individuals with a passion for engineering to join our Field Engineering Program and Technical Field team based in the UK.

GE Vernova is a global energy company supporting Power, Wind, and Electrification businesses, with a focus on the energy transition and decarbonization. Headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts, it employs over 80,000 people worldwide.

The Gas Power business engineers advanced natural gas technologies and decarbonization solutions. As part of the Gas Power One Field Services team, FieldCore installs, maintains, and upgrades power generation equipment to ensure reliable and affordable energy.

Role Overview

You will enroll in FieldCore’s Field Engineering Program (FEP), gaining technical expertise, leadership skills, and hands-on experience through training and on-the-job learning. Upon graduation, you will be eligible for a Technical Field Advisor position working on Gas Turbines.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage site activities including planning, organizing, and monitoring resources
• Perform hands-on maintenance and repairs on Gas Turbines
• Ensure safety standards and technical requirements are met
• Prepare technical and progress reports
• Respond to emergency repairs and customer requests
• Lead and manage site systems, equipment, and upgrades

Requirements

• Willingness to travel extensively and work overtime, including holidays and weekends
• Ability to spend significant time away from home for training and assignments
• Fluent in English with strong technical skills and a passion for engineering
• Ownership, problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude
• Formal education in Engineering (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree) is preferred but experience is valued
