Operational throughout the UK and across continental Europe, we are seeking to expand our team on a variety of nuclear projects, which range in technologies and that find themselves at different stages of their development. To do this, we are seeking to continuously employ talented individuals to join our diverse team that are excited about nuclear projects and are committed to Net Zero, and Energy Security.
We are recruiting for a Field Engineer/Welding Inspector, and you will be responsible to perform Surveillance to give confidence that the Activities are performed in accordance with the Contractor's Work Information. You will form part of a team with the primary role to deliver the Team Lead duties described in the contract and ensure that HPC Quality needs, targets and expectations are met.
As the Field Engineer will be a staunch advocate of our Nuclear Safety Culture and help to embed this approach in all processes and activities undertaken on the Project. The scope will cover all Works associated with the construction of the designated section of the Project and the post holder will perform surveillance on the activities of the Works Contractors. This will include continuous, notified and planned surveillance
You will report to the Construction Superintendent for day-to-day guidance. Input into site wide management issues and a high level of interaction and coordination with other operational members of the site wide team will be required.
In addition to reporting and liaising responsibilities, as the Field Engineer/Welding Inspector you will be required to adhere to (and suggest enhancements and improvements to) company policies, procedures and protocols for construction, health & safety, and other functions.
