Motorola Solutions is seeking a Field Engineer based in Devon or Cornwall to maintain and troubleshoot the Airwave TETRA network across the South West region. You will handle 1st/2nd line fault diagnosis, perform planned maintenance, and support Microwave transmission equipment.
The role involves climbing and rigging for antenna work, entering 24/7 coverage rotas, and coordinating with the scheduling team to meet SLAs. A UK driving license and willingness to travel are essential.

As a Field Engineer you will be responsible for the daily maintenance and fault finding/resolution on the Airwave TETRA network which includes transmission systems and Police, Fire and Ambulance control rooms within the Region. Engineers are provided with the training and equipment necessary to perform network maintenance. It is the engineer's responsibility to maintain and refresh these skills.
Ideal Location: Based in Devon or Cornwall, with a requirement for travel across the South West of England and the flexibility to travel further as needed.

Ideally hold current UK Security Clearance (SC) and NPPV3, OR be willing to undergo security vetting following a Baseline Personnel Security Screening (BPSS) check. You must be a resident of the UK for a minimum of 5 years to go through these clearances.
